A qualified arborist assesses the tree first, works out what it actually needs, and does the job to a standard. That’s what you’re getting here. We’re Jess and Wil, Level 3 and Level 5 certified arborists and QAA members, and this is the full range of what we handle across the Gold Coast, coast to hinterland.
Queensland doesn’t have an arborist licensing scheme, so what counts is the qualification and the insurance behind the crew. Being Level 3 and Level 5 certified means we can properly assess a tree’s health and structure, not just guess at it, and it’s what lets us take on the serious work: dangerous-tree determinations, DA reports, and the council pest-species assessments that unlock removal exemptions. It also means the risky jobs are done to AS4373 with the right cover behind them. You’re fully insured on every job, so you’re always covered.
The most expensive mistake in tree work is removing a tree that only needed pruning. Pruning is cheaper than removal, so we’ve got no reason to push you toward the bigger job. We look at the tree, tell you honestly what it needs, and if a prune will do, that’s what we’ll recommend. When removal genuinely is the right call, you’ll understand why.
Good arboriculture is half skill and half having the right kit so the skill can be used without wrecking your yard. We run an 18-inch 264hp chipper that handles material a small machine would choke on, an 18m³ mulch truck so we’re not making trip after trip, and an Avant loader with a 360° grapple that carries heavy sections out without cutting ruts through the lawn. For the tight ones, we climb and rig rather than drop and hope.
You get in touch, we book a time that suits, and we come out to assess the tree. You’ll get a fixed price in writing on the spot, cleanup included, and a straight answer on what the tree actually needs. Once it’s booked we confirm the day before and call you the morning of, so you’re never left guessing. On the day, it’s all chipped and cleared as we go and the site’s left clean. Mulch stays if you want it.
An arborist is trained and certified to assess a tree’s health and structure, then do the work to a standard. That means the right call on removal versus pruning, and work that keeps the tree healthy instead of butchering it. We’re Level 3 and Level 5 certified.
Yes. We do arborist reports and risk assessments for council applications, DAs, insurers and body corporates, and our Level 5 arborist handles dangerous-tree determinations
Fully insured, every job. Always ask a crew for proof before they start work near your home.
No. There’s no arborist licensing scheme in Queensland, so anyone can say “licensed.” What matters is qualification and insurance, and we’re qualified (Level 3 and Level 5), insured, and QAA members.
