There’s a point where a verbal “it’s fine” isn’t enough and you need it in writing from someone qualified: council wants a report before they’ll approve a removal, your DA needs a tree assessment, your insurer wants proof, or you’re stuck in a dispute over a tree with a neighbour. A proper arborist report is what settles those, and it has to come from someone with the right qualification or it doesn’t carry weight. Ours do, because we’ve got a Level 5 arborist on the tools, which is exactly what the serious reports require.
Not all “arborist reports” are equal. Councils, courts and insurers expect a report from a suitably qualified consulting arborist, and for the serious work, dangerous-tree assessments and DA reports, that means a higher-level (AQF Level 5) qualification. We’ve got that, which is why we can take on reports plenty of tree crews can’t. Just as importantly, a Level 3 arborist is required by Gold Coast City Council to identify pest species for removal exemptions, and we can do that too. So whether you need an exemption confirmed or a full risk assessment written, we’re qualified to do it.
We assess the tree properly, on site, and set out the findings clearly: the species and condition, the structural issues, the level of risk, and a plain recommendation on what should happen and why. Where it’s for council or a DA, we write it to what they require so it doesn’t bounce back. Where it’s for a dispute or an insurer, we keep it factual and independent so it holds up. You end up with a document that actually does its job, not a page of hedging.
Tell us what the report’s for and the deadline you’re working to, and we’ll let you know honestly whether we can hit it. We assess the tree, write the report to the standard the situation needs, and get it to you promptly. If the outcome is that the tree needs work, we can carry that out too, or you’re free to take the report elsewhere. Either way you get a clear price up front.
A report’s price depends on what it’s for and how much assessment it needs. A straightforward condition report on one tree is quicker and cheaper than a full risk assessment or a DA-standard report across a block of them. Turnaround depends on the same thing, plus how busy council or your deadline is, so tell us what you’re working to and we’ll give you an honest timeframe and a fixed price up front, before we start.
For a protected tree on the Gold Coast, usually yes, council wants an assessment before they’ll consider it. We check whether your tree’s protected first so you’re not paying for a report you don’t need.
Yes. We write them to what council, DAs and insurers require, and our Level 5 arborist handles the reports that need that level of qualification.
Quick turnaround. Tell us the deadline you’re working to and we’ll let you know honestly if we can hit it.
Yes, or you can take the report elsewhere. Either way it’s independent and written to standard.
